The construction of a pipe organ requires at least ten times more plans than for the construction of a house.

Between 100 and 130 plans are required in the preparation and the construction of most pipe organs. The King of Instruments leaves nothing to chance; everything inside and outside, from the smallest component to the largest pipe has to be sketched on a plan.
